  • Start by completing the contact form and I’ll reach out to you either by email or phone within 24 hours to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation.

In this conversation you’ll have the chance to tell me what you’re looking for in therapy and I can answer any questions you may have. If you decide that you want to move forward I’ll schedule you for an appointment.

    Easy as that!

  • While I use DBT skills in all therapy sessions, individual DBT treatment incorporates DBT’s mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills in a more structured way and may use other tools such as diary cards and behavioral analyses.

Clients receiving individual DBT therapy also have access to phone coaching sessions as part of their treatment.

As such, I do not accept insurance for individual DBT (except for Mount Sinai UMR Top Tier).

  • My practice is currently 100% virtual using a HIPAA-compliant video platform.

If you're unsure about therapy over video I encourage you to give it a try! I was skeptical at first too but I've found it to be as effective as in-person therapy and much more accessible.

  • I get it, life happens! Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.

For cancellations with less than a 24-hour notice or no-shows, you will be responsible for the full session fee.

*Please note cancellation fees are not eligible for reimbursement by your insurance company.

  • In some cases, you may be eligible to use out-of-network insurance benefits.

You will be responsible for paying for each session in full at the time of your appointment.

I can provide a super bill each month for you to submit for insurance reimbursement. We can discuss details during your consultation.

  • Call the number listed under Member Services on the back of your health insurance card and ask them the following questions:

    1. Do I have out-of-network coverage for mental health including telehealth?

    2. What is my deductible? Has it been met?

    3. Once I reach my deductible, how much do you reimburse?

    4. Is there a co-insurance?

    5. How do I submit my therapist’s superbills for reimbursement?

    6. Is there a timeframe for submitting superbills?

    7. What is the reimbursement rate for a 45-minute session? (CPT code 90834)
